Networking

All those who live,
who have ever lived
are marching
carrying a secret
in their harrowed hearts
The intrepid shadow
of some unseen power
flutters through
each inconstant gaze
Like hues
and harmonies
of a breaking day
each countenance begets
said secret
It is only felt
when the mist
over mountains dance,
when the song
of moonlight
reflects on a midnight stream
when the luminous sun
kisses the golden afternoon
Each omnipresent,
omnipotent heart
marches

i was going to list, as so many bloggers do, all the great lines that i would steal (if i could) but then i saw the excellent photo and that says everything.
really enjoyed this one. like sand in the wind or mist on the sea, a fleeting image that leaves a brazen image.

also, i agree with blackempress about your blogger identity. brilliant!

Beautiful lines....lucid and smooth, each word flowing deliciously into the next...

came back to see if anything new was going on but instead re-read this poem. it makes me think of bloggers. the way their collective thoughts seem to be coalescing into one large heart.

Reading your poem reminds me of the connections between people and then I just looked up and saw CJ's comment. Yes, he stated what I'm after particularly eloquently "caolescing into one large heart." NIce photo to accompany your piece.

Blogging's been slow for me, as it's finals period (insert "Boo!").

nomadic_waves - Thanks for stopping by! Your comments are appreciated.

CJ - Thank you! I really enjoy those transient images, as well. Sort of phantom-like and surreal. I also agree about the bloggers part - I never thought of in terms of that.

GEL - Thanks for dropping by! Coalescing indeed!

Um, I'm guilty of the same thing. I went here because I got so intrigued by your...signature...pseudonym...?

Glad I did though. Your work is really good. I'll come back again.

I discover your blog through GEL's. Your poems are powerful with poignant imageries. This poem, in particular, with an open-ended line leaves many doors of interpretation welcoming many possibilities; of many secrets to be veiled or unveiled...

I have many blogs, but my most updated one is Diary of Silence.

Thanks.

The title is most appropriate. ^_^ Everything is connected in a way; and sometimes I wonder if the law of causality is to blame. Haha.

Hullo. I remember a visit from you some time ago, ahh and I see my link is still here. I am honored! Thank you. Oh, and happy holidays! ^_^
