A Dream in Hand
Like dove grey sand
slipping between
an outstretched hand
dreams in a far off land
You cry and you weep
but no one there to hear
so off you go to sleep
where stars are there to keep
A tender dream or two
under the leafy palm
the wind blowing through
while I'm thinking of you
All dreams must end
just as the water recedes
so tomorrow I will send
a story being penned.
But, wait...
Instead, you get the car
and I'll get the night
and maybe we could make
movies of our dreams
Maybe

inkblot - Thanks a million.
**silvermOOn** - 'Tis my hand. And correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like I've seen one of your hand renditions recently.
movies of our dreams. oh how i wish that we could.
make movies of our dreams....not a bad idea at all...at least the dreams will take some concrete form.. :)
cocaine jesus - What's the roadblock, mate?
illusion - That may be the frightening part - depending on certain variables, of course.
own the night and grab will o' wisps while cruising at 200 towards that bright, shining light at the end of the tunnel...always a good ending for a movie.
love the sardonic twist at the end. :)
blue rogue - You own the ending right there.
finnegan - Never seen the movie. Thanks for that. Very cool. I'll be visiting some starving actor friends in Hollywood next week. I'm very interested in what they have to say.
**silvermOOn** - Thank you for the well wishes. I thought it was about time I put some sort of avatar up, and I'm a big fan of John. You'll have to drop the url for that other blog.
This is truly amazing :)...Intend to keep dropping in!
